Fun Fall Stripes!

Hi friends! I hope your week has started off so wonderful! 🙂 I wanted to talk a little bit more about this adorable striped top, since you guys seem to have loved it on my Instagram!

This top is from Style Babes, and I love the feel and the fit! The fit is super flattering, plus I love how comfy and soft the fabric is. I feel like it can be hard to find tees that are flattering, but this one is so flattering on- it’s not super tight or loose! It’s also so easy to dress up or down, and the fun flared sleeves add something fun to an otherwise simple outfit. I paired it with my favorite white skinnies and otk boots!

Hi friends!! I hope you have all had a wonderful week :). We’ve almost made it to the weekend!! Hang in there and it’ll be here so soon!

However I have a bunch more exciting content coming soon so keep an eye out! Let me know in the comments if you like these lookbook posts, and I’ll do some more!

To start, I want to talk about this adorable sweater dress/tunic! I’m 5’2″,  so for all my petite girls out there this is a perfect fall dress for you! If you’re taller, this would look adorable with leggings and a flannel or scarf. I’m wearing a size M!

This third outfit is also so cute for fall! I can’t make up my mind which outfit is my favorite, I’ve been wearing them nonstop. I love this off shoulder top because it goes with everything and is SO perfect to pair with any skirt! I think it would also look adorable with high waisted pants.

Top: Jenna Top

Last but definitely not least is this adorable polka dot babydoll dress!! I can’t wait to pair it with a denim jacket and booties when it starts to get cooler. I love the polka dot pattern, and the babydoll fit is so flattering! It’s such a fun flirty dress that can be worn all year round.

National Boyfriend’s Day with Daniel Wellington Watches

Hey y’all! I’m so happy to finally be writing on this post for you guys! I found out about this post in early September and have been waiting forever to share it. I hope you love it!!

A little about us 🙂 – Michael and I met at work a couple of weeks before I quit my job. We didn’t see each other again/start talking until he saw me walking out of the school library with another guy! He says that when he saw that he audibly said “Nope, that won’t work.” lol!  In the next couple of weeks we talked and within the next month we had gone on our first date. Fast forward almost 11 months later and we’re coming up on our one year! 🙂 I truly can’t believe God blessed me with such an incredible person. God put him in my life when I needed him so much and more than I knew. I am just so thankful for him, and we couldn’t be more in love!

I surprised Michael with his first Daniel Wellington watch a couple of weeks ago. He absolutely loves watches, as do a lot of guys I’ve known! I thought it would be such a perfect gift, and I can’t believe how much he loves it. He wears it just about every day! 🙂 I think watches are such a foolproof gift for guys, and Daniel Wellington makes beautiful ones! The biggest thing I would recommend if you don’t know where to start is to find out what color of leather your man prefers, and what color of metal (silver, gold, etc.).

Bell Bottoms and Bell Sleeves!

Hey y’all! Today I’m doing a post on everything flare, one of my favorite trend this season! Flared sleeves, pants and dresses are all HUGE this year, and I especially couldn’t be happier that flared pants are making a comeback. I love a good pair of skinnies, but since I’m petite flare jeans are usually more flattering on me with heels!

This floral calico bell bottom jumpsuit is one of my favorite items in my closet. It’s so cute and unique! Plus, the colors are so perfect for transitioning into fall. You could pair this with a denim jacket and booties in cooler weather, and you have such a great casual outfit for a date night, shopping or brunch!

Hey y’all! Today on the blog I’m talking about a wardrobe staple – little black dresses! LBD’s are such an essential in my closet, and I love how timeless and classic this one is. It’s so flattering for any body type, and has a retro/50s vibe while still being modern with the tie front and shorter skirt. This dress is $50 from Highway 81 Boutique!

Dress: Take Me Out Dress

I paired it with classic simple gold jewelry and my favorite black heels! My exact earrings and similar heels are linked in the app – nothing linked over $30!

Fav Fall Transition Pieces!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Is it ever really too early to write a fall post?? (Please don’t answer that)

Hey y’all! Today I’m writing a post on fall transition pieces! I know you’re probably thinking it’s way too early to write a fall post. And while it might be, I don’t think it’s ever too early to write a post on transition pieces! Transition pieces are SO amazing because they can be worn in just about every season, and simply styled differently.

The first outfit I want to talk about is the cutest little overall dress paired with a white top and leopard flats. The top and dress are from Leander Boutique, with the dress and shoes both being under $50! Overall dresses are amazing because they can be styled with a tee or blouse and flats in the summer, and a sweater and booties in the fall!

This second outfit is full of transitional pieces and is definitely a fav outfit in my closet right now! I wear white after Labor Day all the time (oops) so this is such a great transition piece to wear with long sleeved blouses and sweaters! Also, this red gingham top (looks pink in the picture) is such a great layering piece. Add an accessory like my hair scarf and you’re good to go!

Pretty much this entire outfit is also from Leander Boutique (a fav boutique of mine)!

Top: Gingham Tank

Skirt: Button Front White Skirt

Scarf: Hair scarf

This last outfit is so cute, and the main transition piece I want to talk about is this cami!! It’s a perfect dupe for the lace cami from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that everyone has been obsessed with lately. And the best part? Its only $10! Yes, you read that right- $10!! Seriously such a steal! The one from Nordstrom was over $100. Run (don’t walk) to grab it!!
